LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Thelma Hettrick of the United States at age 110. She was born in Pavilion, Genesee County, New York, United States on 28 September 1906. Born and raised on a farm in Pavilion, Hettrick’s family history is deeply rooted in agriculture. Her grandfather, Noah Starr, was one of the county’s earliest farmers.
After graduating from Pavilion Central School in 1926, she pursued a career in dietetics, earning a certificate from the Mechanics Institute (RIT) and working in hospitals and schools. At some point, she got married, and the couple raised three children together. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Pavilion.
Hettrick passed away at the Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia, Genesee County, New York, USA, on 25 December 2016, at the age of 110 years, 88 days. She was survived by her daughter, 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
