LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Sata Adachi at 111 years old. She was a Japanese supercentenarian considered as the oldest living person in Tochigi Prefecture at the time of her death.
Sata Adachi was born on 22 October 1908 in Japan.
She strived to earn in farming to raise her six children by herself after her husband died in the South China Sea during World War II.
Until 2015, she lived in her own home in Mooka but later moved into a nursing home in Yuki City. She decided to move after suffering a bruise when she fell from the stairs.
“Vegetarian diet and walking” are her answer when asked about the secret of her longevity.
Sata Adachi passed away on 29 October 2019 at 7:23 PM in Mooka, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. She was 111 years old at the time of her death.
