Born in Louisiana, Ms. Francis has spent most of her life in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. One of her sisters lived to the age of 106. She credits her longevity to her faith in God. Ms. Francis enjoys the frequent company of family members, including multiple great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Francis is the first supercentenarian to be directly validated by LongeviQuest, based on the research of Stefan Maglov.
