Rosa Laura Torres Barra, age 110, is now a validated Chilean supercentenarian.
Rosa Laura Torres Barra was born in Tomé, Biobío Region, Chile, on 20 July 1913. She worked at Bellavista Oveja Tomé Factory, dedicated to the textile industry, for more than 40 years. She never married but had two children.
On 5 March 2024, following the passing of 113-year-old Eudocia Barría Barrientos, she became the oldest known living person in Chile.
