Gertrud Teichgräber was a validated German supercentenarian who died in 2020 at the age of 111. She was the oldest living person in the state of Lower Saxony.
Gertrud Teichgräber was born in Charlottenburg, Berlin, Germany on 22 November 1908. She was a wife and a mother.
She and her husband fled from Berlin to his hometown of Süpplingen during the Second World War. After the war, she opened the town’s first self-service shop. They had at least one son, who she lived longer than. Her husband died in 2005 after being married for 72 years.

Teichgräber passed away in Helmstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany, on 16 March 2020, at the age of 111 years, 115 days. At the time of her death, Teichgräber was the oldest resident of Lower Saxony. She attained this title upon the death of Emilie Zimmermann, 110, on 23 September 2018. Following her own death, the title passed to 111-year-old Gertrud Grutza.
