Sakuho, Nagano Prefecture, Japan – LongeviQuest is happy to announce that Mrs. Sata Mizukami, the oldest living resident of Nagano Prefecture, celebrated her 112th birthday on March 26 at the nursing home in the city of Sakuho.
Mrs. Mizukami was born in the same city on 26 March 1912, as the second daughter among six siblings. After graduating from elementary school, she developed a passion for sewing and honed her skills while assisting with household chores at her home. In her early twenties, she married a farmer, with whom she raised four children.
In September 2023, she was reported as the oldest living person in Nagano Prefecture.
Her sons came to her nursing home with a cake and celebrated her birthday with the family. The nursing home reported that she was happy to see the flowers sent by LongeviQuest.
