LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Bertha Belflower of the United States at age 110. She was born in Berrien County, Georgia, USA, on 14 January 1907, as the last child of 15 children. Growing up, Belflower lived on the family farm near Oakey Grove Church. At 17, she got married and eventually raised her two sons in Tifton and Valdosta, Georgia. Both of her sons served in the military during World War II.
Following the war, Belflower and her husband lived on Saint Simons Island until 1959. In the early 1960s, she moved to Plant City, Florida, near her sister. Remaining independent even after selling her home at 96, she lived there until her passing.

Belflower passed away in Bartow, Florida, USA, on 30 October 2017, at the age of 110 years, 289 days. She was survived by her son Kenneth, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
