LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Asayo Itagaki of Japan at age 111. She was born in Japan on 25 December 1903.

Asayo Itagaki passed away in Ōda City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on 25 December 2014, her 111th birthday. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest (known) living person in Shimane Prefecture, behind Kitsuyo Yamamoto.
