LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Fujie Tanikawa of Japan at age 111. She was born in Japan on 4 March 1908.
On her 100th birthday, Tanikawa received official congratulations and gifts from the city and prefecture. She enjoyed a hearty appetite and a healthy lifestyle while living with her eldest son. When asked about her secrets to a long life, she attributed it simply to the joys of “happily chatting with family and friends.”

Fujie Tanikawa passed away at the hospital in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan, on 9 June 2019, at the age of 111 years, 97 days.
